Description

A comforting dish featuring creamy Alfredo sauce, Cajun chicken, and tender orzo pasta. Perfect for dinner or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Cajun seasoned chicken breast
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the Cajun seasoned chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from pot and set aside.
  2. Add orzo and chicken broth to the same pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, and cooked chicken. Continue to cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in Cajun seasoning for a few hours before cooking. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of chicken broth or cream to loosen it.
