Description

A comforting dish of rigatoni pasta enveloped in a creamy, cheesy sauce, enhanced with Cajun-seasoned steak bites.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb steak (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a skillet. Add steak bite pieces and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
  3. Reduce heat and add heavy cream to the skillet. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  4. Add cooked rigatoni to the skillet, tossing everything together until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half or a non-dairy creamer instead of heavy cream. Feel free to substitute chicken or shrimp for the steak.
