- 1.5 to 2 pounds Beef Kielbasa
- 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke or Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 cup Non-alcoholic Apple Cider or Beef Broth
- 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup or Honey (optional)
- Pinch of Cayenne Pepper or Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Unpackage the beef kielbasa and slice it into approximately ½-inch thick rounds.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine dark brown sugar, smoky enhancer (liquid smoke or smoked paprika), and your chosen glaze base (apple cider, beef broth, or a combination with maple syrup/honey) in a medium bowl. If using, add a pinch of cayenne pepper now and whisk until smooth.
- Pour the sweet smoky glaze evenly over the sliced kielbasa on the baking sheet and gently toss to coat.
- Bake for 25-35 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes until the kielbasa is heated through and the glaze is thick and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
Notes
Serve warm with toothpicks or small skewers. Pair with dipping sauces like mustard or ranch.
