Description

Delicious meatballs made with rich ground meat and creamy ricotta cheese, perfect for a carnivorous diet or a hearty meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, pork, or a mix)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking, optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground meat, ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix the ingredients well until thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about one to two inches in size.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat (if using).
  5. Add the meatballs to the skillet and brown them on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Bake the meatballs in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes for a healthier option.
  7. Remove the meatballs from the skillet or oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep the meatballs tender. Add herbs or crushed red pepper for extra flavor.
