- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 egg, beaten
- Coarse sea salt (for topping)
- Optional: mustard or ketchup for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add salt and pepper and stir until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 2-inch squares.
- Place a small spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture into the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the dough over the filling to create a ball, sealing the edges tightly.
- Arrange the pretzel bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each bomb with beaten egg and sprinkle coarse sea salt on top.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
