- 2 Chicken breasts
- 4 slices Bacon
- 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup White wine
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- Pasta or mashed potatoes (for serving)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Sear the chicken breasts in the bacon fat until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Set aside.
- Sauté the onions and garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Stir in the white wine and bring to a simmer, reducing slightly.
- Add the heavy cream, salt, and pepper; stir until combined.
- Combine the cooked chicken and bacon with the sauce.
- Serve over pasta or mashed potatoes.
Notes
Add a sprinkle of parsley or Parmesan cheese before serving. Pair with a green salad and white wine.
