Description

A comforting chicken dish with crispy bacon, tender chicken, and a luscious cream sauce, perfect for cozy dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup White wine
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • Pasta or mashed potatoes (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sear the chicken breasts in the bacon fat until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Set aside.
  3. Sauté the onions and garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
  4. Add the mushrooms and cook until softened.
  5. Stir in the white wine and bring to a simmer, reducing slightly.
  6. Add the heavy cream, salt, and pepper; stir until combined.
  7. Combine the cooked chicken and bacon with the sauce.
  8. Serve over pasta or mashed potatoes.

Notes

Add a sprinkle of parsley or Parmesan cheese before serving. Pair with a green salad and white wine.
