Description

A luxurious dish combining perfectly seared steak with silky rigatoni in a creamy four-cheese sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Steak
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 12 oz Rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Fontina cheese
  • 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic, then the steak, and sear until desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steak and let it rest. Meanwhile, bring salted water to a boil and cook rigatoni according to package instructions, then drain.
  4. Add rigatoni to the same skillet, sprinkle with cheeses, and stir until melted into a creamy sauce.
  5. Slice rested steak against the grain and serve over rigatoni, drizzling with garlic butter from the skillet.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in fresh herbs or sauté vegetables before adding pasta.
