Description
A comforting dish that combines juicy steak with creamy four-cheese rigatoni for a delightful Italian experience.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Steak
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 12 oz Rigatoni pasta
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup Fontina cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Season the steak generously with salt and pepper, allowing the flavors to seep in.
- In a skillet, melt the butter with a splash of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add in the minced garlic and let it infuse the butter with a fragrant aroma. Then, sear the steak to your preferred level of doneness, allowing a beautiful crust to form. Once done, remove it from the skillet and let it rest.
- While the steak is resting, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet (don’t forget the lovely garlic-infused butter!), add all the cheeses along with a splash of cream. Stir continuously until the cheeses melt into a smooth and creamy sauce.
- Toss the drained rigatoni into the cheese sauce, ensuring each piece is lovingly coated.
- Slice the rested steak and elegantly place it on a plate alongside the creamy rigatoni.
Notes
Rest the steak before slicing to keep it juicy. Feel free to swap cheeses based on preference.
