Description

A comforting dish that combines juicy steak with creamy four-cheese rigatoni for a delightful Italian experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Steak
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 12 oz Rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Fontina cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper, allowing the flavors to seep in.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter with a splash of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add in the minced garlic and let it infuse the butter with a fragrant aroma. Then, sear the steak to your preferred level of doneness, allowing a beautiful crust to form. Once done, remove it from the skillet and let it rest.
  3. While the steak is resting, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet (don’t forget the lovely garlic-infused butter!), add all the cheeses along with a splash of cream. Stir continuously until the cheeses melt into a smooth and creamy sauce.
  5. Toss the drained rigatoni into the cheese sauce, ensuring each piece is lovingly coated.
  6. Slice the rested steak and elegantly place it on a plate alongside the creamy rigatoni.

Notes

Rest the steak before slicing to keep it juicy. Feel free to swap cheeses based on preference.
