Description

A comforting dish featuring chicken breasts coated in a creamy sour cream and cheese mixture, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish generously with olive oil or butter.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish.
  4. Mix together the sour cream, shredded cheese, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the sour cream mixture over the chicken breasts.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
