Ingredients

- 4 Chicken breasts
- 8 oz Mushrooms
- 1 Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- Egg noodles or rice for serving
Instructions
- Melt the Butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and garlic to the melted butter, sauté until translucent.
- Next, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until browned.
- Now, add diced chicken to the skillet, and cook until no longer pink.
- Stir in the flour to create a roux, then gradually pour in chicken broth.
- Once the sauce thickens, stir in sour cream.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Plate Chicken Stroganoff over egg noodles or rice and enjoy!
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for about 2 months.
