Description

A moist and sweet banana bread filled with melted chocolate chips, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 to 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in melted butter.
  3. Mix in baking soda and salt.
  4. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Mix in the flour until just incorporated.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor and sweetness. Don’t overmix the batter for a fluffy texture.
