- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cups cooked green beans (or 2 cans, drained)
- 1 1/3 cups French fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and black pepper, mixing well.
- Add the cooked green beans to the soup mixture and stir until coated.
- Pour the mixture into a 1.5-quart casserole dish, spreading evenly.
- Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
- Stir in 2/3 cup of the French fried onions after baking.
- Return the casserole to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
- Top with remaining French fried onions before serving.
