Instructions
- Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine the Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter. Stir gently to mix.
- Create the Batter: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Heat the Skillet: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter.
- Pour and Cook the Pancakes: Pour batter onto the skillet, cooking until bubbles form, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm with a pat of melted butter and a drizzle of maple syrup.
