Description

A delightful dish that combines tender cod and potatoes in a rich rosemary cream sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Cod fillets
  • 2 Potatoes
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and chopped rosemary; sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add cod fillets and cook until they are opaque and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, boil potatoes until tender.
  7. Drain potatoes and add them to the skillet, gently stirring to coat in the sauce.
  8. Serve warm with crusty bread or steamed vegetables.

Notes

Use fresh rosemary for the best flavor. Make sure not to overcook the cod, and for a thicker sauce, let it simmer longer before adding the cod.
