Description

Delicious snack bites made with creamy cottage cheese and topped with your favorite pizza toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup flour (whole wheat or all-purpose)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
  • Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, flour, egg, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well integrated.
  3. Form bites: Using your hands, form small balls or mounds of the mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  4. Add toppings: If desired, top each bite with your favorite toppings, such as pepperoni or chopped veggies.
  5. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  6. Cool slightly: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the bites cool for a few minutes.
  7. Serve with sauce: Serve your Cottage Cheese Pizza Bites warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
