- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- ¼ cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Instructions
- Combine cottage cheese, half of the shredded cheddar (½ cup), water, taco seasoning, and chili powder in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add the remaining cheddar and blend until completely smooth.
- Transfer to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 40-60 seconds if you prefer warm queso.
- Serve immediately for chilled queso or enjoy with tortilla chips or veggies.
Notes
For extra creaminess, blend longer to ensure a smooth texture. Adjust spices to taste and experiment with additional ingredients if desired.
