Description

A delicious, creamy twist on traditional queso made with low-fat cottage cheese, cheddar, and spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

  1. Combine cottage cheese, half of the shredded cheddar (½ cup), water, taco seasoning, and chili powder in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add the remaining cheddar and blend until completely smooth.
  3. Transfer to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 40-60 seconds if you prefer warm queso.
  4. Serve immediately for chilled queso or enjoy with tortilla chips or veggies.

Notes
