Description

A comforting blend of Italian sausage, hearty potatoes, and creamy broth, perfect for chilly days.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 medium Potatoes, diced
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Add Italian sausage, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  4. Add diced potatoes and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and let simmer until potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  7. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, swap heavy cream with half-and-half or a milk alternative. Additional vegetables can be added for more nutrition.
