Description

A delightful dish combining imitation crab, fresh vegetables, and creamy ranch dressing, perfect for gatherings or a quick meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 cups spiral pasta
  • 18 oz imitation crab
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, diced
  • 1/3 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried dill

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spiral pasta according to package directions until al dente (usually 8-10 minutes).
  2. While the pasta cooks, prepare all your vegetables: finely dice the green pepper into 1/4-inch pieces, chop the celery, dice the onion, and chop the fresh parsley.
  3. Once the pasta finishes cooking, drain it thoroughly and rinse with cold water until completely cooled.
  4. While the pasta cools, prepare your dressing base by combining the mayonnaise and ranch dressing in a medium bowl. Crush the dried dill as you add it, then stir until smooth.
  5. Place the cooled pasta into a large mixing bowl. Add the chopped crab along with all the diced vegetables. Toss everything gently.
  6. Pour the dressing mixture over the pasta and vegetable mixture, then fold everything together gently until all ingredients are coated.
  7. Transfer the salad to the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 120 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped cucumbers or bell peppers. Use real crab for a richer flavor.
