- 1 cup aged Romano cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried herbs (such as oregano or thyme)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and your choice of dried herbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Brown the chicken breasts in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle aged Romano cheese over the top of the chicken.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and golden.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs if desired.
Notes
For a crispier topping, broil the chicken for the last few minutes of baking. Experiment with different dried herbs or add vegetables like spinach or tomatoes to the skillet for extra flavor.
