Description

A comforting and creamy soup filled with tender chicken, cheese tortellini, and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic until soft.
  2. Add the shredded chicken and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in the tortellini and cook according to package instructions.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using Italian seasoning or adding red pepper flakes. Be careful not to overcook the tortellini.
