- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic until soft.
- Add the shredded chicken and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in the tortellini and cook according to package instructions.
- Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using Italian seasoning or adding red pepper flakes. Be careful not to overcook the tortellini.
