Description

A creamy and delicious Alfredo sauce that you can easily make at home, perfect for pasta dishes.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (preferably freshly grated)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pasta of choice (for serving)
  • Cooked chicken or shrimp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, continuously stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For best flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
