- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 cups spinach
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef, stirring frequently until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Stir and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Toss in the fresh spinach along with the Italian seasoning. Cook until the spinach wilts, about 2-3 minutes.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Give it a quick stir to combine.
- Introduce the cooked pasta back into the skillet, gently tossing it in the creamy sauce until well-coated.
- Dish out immediately and serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt. Add extra vegetables for more nutrition.
