Description

A refreshing frozen yogurt combining sweet honey and floral lavender, perfect for summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried hibiscus petals (optional)
  • 0.333 cups honey
  • 1 drop purple food coloring

Instructions

  1. Combine the heavy cream and dried culinary lavender in a saucepan. Heat gently over low heat until warm, not boiling. Steep for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Strain out the lavender, leaving the fragrant cream behind.
  3. Mix the infused cream with Greek yogurt, honey, and hibiscus petals (if using) until smooth. Add purple food coloring for visual appeal.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Transfer the yogurt to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2-3 hours or until firm.

Notes

Serve with fresh berries or a drizzle of honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
