Description

A delicious dish combining tender chicken with a rich creamy Asiago cheese sauce and sautéed mushrooms, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Asiago cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the same skillet. Sauté until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the Asiago cheese and dried thyme, cooking until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot with a sprinkle of additional cheese if desired.

Notes

Serve over rice, pasta, or with roasted vegetables. Add parsley for garnish.
