Description

A comforting twist on a family classic, this creamy pasta dish combines Rotel tomatoes, ground beef, and rich cheese for a nostalgic flavor experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the beef in a large skillet with a splash of olive oil over medium heat until it’s browned and cooked through.
  3. Add the can of Rotel tomatoes, with all the juices, and the heavy cream to the skillet. Stir to blend the flavors.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir well to coat in the sauce.
  5. Melt the shredded cheese until it’s just melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Stir one last time.
  7. Serve hot, spooning into bowls.

Notes

Consider serving with a green salad and garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
