Description

A hearty and comforting Tater Tot Casserole with ground beef, creamy soups, and crispy tater tots, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground beef
  • 1 bag (32 oz) Frozen tater tots
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz) Cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small Onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 can (15 oz) Corn (drained)
  • 1 can Green beans (drained)
  • 1/2 cup Diced bell peppers
  • 4 strips Bacon (cooked, crumbled)
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup (optional)
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning
  • To taste Extra shredded cheese
  • To taste Sliced green onions
  • To taste Sour cream
  • To taste Crumbled bacon
  • To taste Side salad
  • To taste Dinner rolls
  • To taste Steamed vegetables
  • To taste Garlic bread

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef with the diced onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Drain all the fat, then season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Add the cooked ground beef and mix in the shredded cheese.
  4. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray. Spread the beef mixture evenly on the bottom of the dish. Top with the remaining cheese.
  5. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top, covering the entire surface.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes until the tater tots are golden and crispy. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with optional toppings like extra cheese, sliced green onions, and crumbled bacon.
