- 2 tbsp Olive oil (Or garlic butter)
- 1 cup Pizza sauce or marinara (Adjust to taste)
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese (Or mix with cheddar/provolone)
- Favorite toppings (Pepperoni, sausage, veggies, etc.)
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (Optional topping)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (Or dried oregano/red pepper flakes)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Ensure the rack is in the middle or lower position for crispiness.
- Slice the loaf in half lengthwise and place it cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Brush the surface lightly with olive oil or a garlic butter mixture (mix softened butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning).
- Add a thin, even layer of pizza sauce or marinara, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, add desired toppings, and finish with Parmesan and seasonings.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden, and the edges are crisp.
- Let it rest for 2–3 minutes, slice, and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, use garlic butter instead of regular olive oil. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses for unique tastes.
