- 2 cube steaks
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Rice or mashed potatoes for serving
Instructions
- Layer the onions: Place the sliced onion in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Season the steaks: Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper, then place on top of the onions.
- Create the mushroom gravy: Mix cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce together, and pour over the steaks.
- Set and forget: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
- Serve and enjoy: Serve the cube steak and gravy over rice or mashed potatoes.
