Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef (chuck roast or stew meat)
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a crock pot, place the beef, sliced onions, beef broth, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or high for 240 minutes until the beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Once the beef is done, shred it with a fork in the crock pot and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Serve the beef mixture over the cooked noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding some sliced mushrooms. To thicken the sauce, mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with water and stir it in during the last hour of cooking.
