Description

A comforting crockpot goulash made with ground beef, elbow macaroni, and a rich tomato sauce that brings flavor and warmth to your family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked meat mixture to your crockpot.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and elbow macaroni to the crockpot. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Stir everything together to combine, ensuring the pasta is submerged in the sauce.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until pasta is tender.
  6. Stir in shredded cheese just before serving, if desired.

Notes

This dish can be served with crusty bread or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored for up to 4 days in an airtight container, or frozen for up to 3 months.
