Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (e.g., peanut butter, almond butter)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, nuts, and salt.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the honey (or maple syrup) and nut butter together over low heat until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients and stir to combine. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
