Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dandelion petals, cleaned and chopped
  • Lemon or vanilla zest for flavor (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the dandelion petals and optional zest.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, flattening them slightly.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
