Description

Rich, fudgy brownies that are easy to make and utterly irresistible, perfect for satisfying a chocolate craving.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small baking pan to prevent sticking.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Once smooth and melted, remove it from the heat.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. Beat in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined. Keep the batter thick!
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

For a twist, add nuts or chocolate chips, or make it gluten-free by substituting the flour.
