- 3 medium ripe bananas
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup Dutch cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Add the melted butter to the bananas and mix well.
- Stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the Greek yogurt and chocolate chips gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Can be frozen for up to three months.
