- 1 lb frozen meatballs
- 2 cups pasta (such as penne or rotini)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large baking dish, combine the frozen meatballs, uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well to ensure the pasta is coated with sauce.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, stir the casserole, and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Return to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider sautéing some onions or bell peppers and mixing them in before baking. Use plant-based meatballs for a vegetarian version.
