Description

A warm and comforting bowl of broth, dumplings, and noodles, perfect for chilly days or any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Dumplings
  • Ramen noodles
  • Soft boiled eggs
  • Fresh greens (e.g., spinach, bok choy)
  • Broth (chicken or vegetable)
  • Soy sauce
  • Green onions
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Broth: In a pot, bring the broth to a gentle simmer. Add soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
  2. Cook the Dumplings: Gently slip the dumplings into the simmering broth. Allow them to cook until they are tender and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes, depending on size.
  3. Cook the Ramen Noodles: In a separate pot, boil water and cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions until they reach the perfect al dente texture. Drain and set aside.
  4. Soft Boil the Eggs: Meanwhile, in a small pot, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the eggs and boil for 6-7 minutes. Once done, transfer them to an ice bath to cool before peeling.
  5. Combine Ramen and Dumplings: Once the dumplings are cooked, drain the ramen and add it directly into the broth. Stir gently to combine and let all the flavors meld together for a minute.
  6. Serve the Ramen Bowl: Ladle the delicious ramen and dumplings into serving bowls. Top with fresh greens, soft boiled eggs cut in half, sliced green onions, and a drizzle of sesame oil to finish.

Notes

For perfectly soft boiled eggs, use larger eggs and adjust timing based on your altitude and stove. Add a few chili flakes to the broth for some heat.
