Description

A quick and comforting dish of shrimp cooked in garlic and butter, served over rice. Perfect for busy weeknights!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp, season with paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice and mix well to coat with the garlic butter.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh shrimp. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 2 months.
