Description

Quick and tasty Mediterranean chicken gyros with marinated chicken, fresh veggies, and tzatziki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pita bread
  • Sliced cucumber
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, prepare toppings like cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, and tzatziki sauce.
  4. Once the chicken is done, slice it into strips.
  5. Serve chicken in pita bread topped with fresh vegetables and tzatziki sauce.

Notes
