- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pita bread
- Sliced cucumber
- Sliced tomatoes
- Red onion, thinly sliced
- Tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- Mix olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare toppings like cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, and tzatziki sauce.
- Once the chicken is done, slice it into strips.
- Serve chicken in pita bread topped with fresh vegetables and tzatziki sauce.
Notes
Marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight for more flavor. Use fresh herbs for better taste.
