Description

A delightful and easy-to-make dish combining pesto, juicy chicken, and melted cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup Pesto Sauce, store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange the seasoned chicken breasts in a baking dish in a single layer.
  4. Spread the pesto sauce generously over each piece of chicken.
  5. Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes around the chicken.
  6. Top the chicken with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the entire dish.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Make sure to season the chicken well for better flavor. Use fresh pesto if possible for a richer taste.
