- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup fresh spinach (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the crumbled sausage evenly over the pie crust, then sprinkle the cheese on top.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden.
- If desired, top with fresh spinach before serving.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Pairs well with a side salad or fresh fruit. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
