Description

A delicious twist on traditional sushi that’s simple to make and perfect for gatherings. Enjoy all the flavors of sushi without the rolling!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • Nori sheets, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions.
  3. Prepare the salmon by mixing the mayonnaise, sriracha, and soy sauce together.
  4. Place the salmon in a baking dish and spread the sriracha mixture on top.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
  6. Spread the cooked sushi rice in an even layer on a baking dish.
  7. Flake the cooked salmon over the rice and top with sliced avocado and green onions.
  8. Serve with nori sheets to wrap.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
