- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 can (10.5 oz) water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
- Combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and rice in a mixing bowl; stir well.
- Pour the rice mixture into the prepared baking pan and place chicken breasts on top.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 to 1½ hours until the chicken is cooked through.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken in your favorite spices or sauces before baking. You can also add frozen vegetables like peas or carrots to the rice mixture for extra nutrition and color.
