Description

A bold and flavorful Korean BBQ sauce perfect for marinades, dips, and drizzling over grilled meats and vegetables.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 12 tablespoons Korean chili sauce (gochujang)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  2. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and Korean chili sauce.
  3. Whisk the mixture until the ingredients are well combined and the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Transfer the sauce to a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat.
  5. Allow it to simmer for about 5-10 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds and garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and spice according to your preference. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
