- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh herbs like thyme or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice it into thick steaks, about 1-inch thick.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush both sides with the garlic butter mixture.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over the cabbage steaks.
- Roast in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tender and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with any remaining garlic butter. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
