Description

Quick and flavorful garlic prawns cooked in olive oil, perfect as an appetizer or served over pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 8 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, letting it warm up until it shimmers.
  2. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook until the garlic becomes golden and fragrant—about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add in the shrimp and season generously with salt to taste.
  4. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink and are cooked through, around 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the chopped parsley.
  6. Serve the Garlic Prawns hot, accompanied by lemon wedges.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for best flavor and texture. Adjust the red pepper flakes according to spice preference.
