Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large sheet cake pan.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Add the boiling water to the batter, stirring until smooth and slightly thinner than traditional cake batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely after removing it from the oven.
- Make the frosting by combining coconut flakes, chopped pecans, and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled cake, covering it generously.
