Description

A flavorful Greek Chicken Souvlaki marinated with lemon, garlic, and oregano, served with refreshing tzatziki sauce. Perfect for summer gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tablespoon dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for tzatziki)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken and give it a good stir, ensuring every piece is covered in the fragrant marinade. Cover the bowl and allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Skewers: After the chicken has marinated, thread it onto your skewers, leaving space between pieces for even cooking.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for a few minutes.
  4. Cook the Chicken Skewers: Place the chicken skewers in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce: In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Once the chicken is cooked, serve the skewers with the tzatziki sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for maximum flavor. Double the tzatziki recipe if you love to dip!
