- 1 pound steak strips (your choice of cut)
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 1 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 limes, one juiced and one cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup lime juice (for marinade)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Marinate the steak strips in lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, and salt for at least 30 minutes.
- Grill the marinated steak strips on medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or stovetop until pliable.
- Slice the rested steak against the grain into tender strips.
- Assemble your tacos with steak slices, diced onions, and chopped cilantro, followed by a squeeze of lime juice.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
For optimal flavor, marinate the steak for up to 2 hours. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or rice.
