- 1 pound fresh salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Combine diced salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
- Combine diced avocado, lime juice, cilantro, and salt in another bowl to make the avocado salsa.
- Serve the grilled salmon patties on hamburger buns topped with avocado salsa.
Notes
For easier mixing, chop the salmon into small pieces or use a food processor. Don’t overmix the salmon mixture to keep the burgers tender.
