Description

Fresh and flavorful salmon burgers topped with creamy avocado salsa, perfect for summer grilling or quick dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Combine diced salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties.
  4. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  5. Combine diced avocado, lime juice, cilantro, and salt in another bowl to make the avocado salsa.
  6. Serve the grilled salmon patties on hamburger buns topped with avocado salsa.

Notes

For easier mixing, chop the salmon into small pieces or use a food processor. Don’t overmix the salmon mixture to keep the burgers tender.
