- 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded rotisserie chicken or leftover turkey)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom/cream of celery)
- 1 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
- 1/2 cup milk (any type, including dairy-free)
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (or fresh peas/corn)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (or sautéed fresh onions)

- to taste pepper
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade dough)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix together the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, frozen vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Pour the mixture into a casserole dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters and place them on top of the chicken mixture.
- If you choose, brush melted butter over the biscuits.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add hot sauce or red pepper flakes. You can also make a vegetarian version by substituting chicken with tofu or chickpeas.
